Jackie's Legacy, Your Leadership
What makes a leader? Explore Jackie Robinson’s core leadership traits and how he used them on and off the baseball field in this interactive program. Join us on a virtual journey through his life—as a child in Pasadena, a college athlete and military man, the first African American in modern Major League Baseball, and an activist—to learn how he was a pioneer in the fight for equal civil rights. Get inspired by Robinson’s legacy of courage, discipline, and integrity and set your own leadership goals to empower you to “step up to the plate” as pacesetters in your schools and communities.
Teachers, are you interested in a follow up program in which your students virtually “meet-up” with another class to share information and ideas about their leadership goal? Let us know on your registration form! (Scheduling is subject to availability of JRM staff and peer classes.)
We are not offering this program at this time, but check out current program offerings at www.jackierobinsonmuseum.org.
